Mia is a family nurse practitioner with 30 years of nursing experience in a variety of settings, such as hospice and palliative care, infectious diseases, oncology, and critical care. Her leadership roles include clinical education and program development. Mia is a diploma RN and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and her master’s degree in nursing from Michigan State University.

Lori is a high-performing nurse manager with more than 25 years of health care management experience in hospitals, home health, and hospice care. Protzman completed the Faculty Scholar Program in Palliative Care Education and Practice at the Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care. She also is a Respecting Choices© Last Steps Certified Facilitator and Instructor.

RN, BSN, Community Nurse Clinician

Charlet is a nurse case manager with nearly 30 years of experience. She is a graduate from Hawaii Loa College with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Her nursing experience includes family practice, infectious diseases, internal medicine, oncology, and pediatrics. She has extensive home care experience and most recently was a case manager with the Kaiser QUEST population.

RN, BSN, Community Nurse Clinician

Geraldine is a nurse case manager with an extensive background in home health care. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from Hawaii Loa College and completed the Wound Management Education Program at the University of Washington. Most recently, she worked at the Queen's Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center as a certified wound care nurse.

Razlyn is a nurse case manager, born and raised in Honolulu. She is a graduate of the West Coast University in Ontario, California, with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Her nursing experience includes home health care, private duty home health care with pediatrics, and skilled nursing facility care.

LSW, ACSW, Social Worker

Jamie is a licensed social worker and graduate of the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work with a focus in gerontology. Jamie has more than 15 years of experience as a social worker in a variety of settings, including coordination of early intervention services for children birth to three years old; case management with the chronically ill; health insurance counseling to seniors; hospice care; and grief support.

LCSW, Social Worker

Karen is a licensed clinical social worker with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in social work, focused in mental health, from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa. Originally from Hong Kong, Karen also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. She has worked with families through Child Welfare Services; coached teens with emotional and/or behavioral challenges; and conducted home-studies, crisis intervention, case management, and in-home therapy for families and children.

LSW, Social Worker

Roxanne is a licensed social worker who graduated from the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa with a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in Mental Health. She has experience working with adult, family and elderly populations, as well as with the Filipino community. Roxanne has worked in a variety of settings over her career, including intensive community case management, hospital, health insurance service coordination, and the federal government.

Kelcie has a master’s degree in social work from the University of Hawaii at Mānoa with a focus on child and family. Throughout her career, Kelcie has worked with diverse populations, including assisting homeless families and empowering women transitioning from prison to the community. These opportunities have contributed to her knowledge of community resources for people going through significant life transitions.

CMA, Clinical Care Associate

Natasha is a certified medical assistant with 12 years of experience. She has gained her first experience in the medical field while working with cardiothoracic surgeons. For the next 11 years, she has dedicated herself to working with a podiatrist. She has knowledge with medical insurance, EHRs, DMEs, medical prior authorizations, and medical coding and billing. Her greatest experience while in the medical field, is being able to help make a difference in the lives of people.
